Club Calendar

When the range is open in 2026

The range is closed every Monday for the club maintenance work day, and for the whole November firearms deer portion. Every other Missouri deer season is listed for planning — the range stays open through those.

Closed

Mondays — club maintenance work day

The range is closed to shooting every Monday so the membership can extend the shooting line, build and maintain berms, mow, reset steel, and replace target frames. Gate access for non-range purposes is unaffected — the property is still yours to walk.

Members are expected at one work day per year. Work the membership does itself is work the club doesn’t pay for, which is what keeps annual dues down for everyone.

The work day pauses during firearms deer season. Mondays inside a Missouri firearms portion are normal open days. Archery season does not pause the work day — it runs too long to skip maintenance for.

Closed

November firearms portion — range closed

The rifle range is shut for the entire November firearms portion. That is the week the timber is fullest, and a live firing line pointed into ground people are hunting is not a risk worth taking. No day passes are sold for those dates.

Every other deer season is listed for planning only — the range stays open through them. Expect hunters in the timber during the other firearms portions in particular. Coordinate on the member channel before heading out, and know where the stands are.

Members can reserve a paid hunting season slot for any season — 5 per firearms season, 5 per archery season, with pick order drawn at random.

Make Use of the Monday

The range is quiet. The property is wide open.

A closed firing line is the best time to be out in the timber. With nobody shooting, work days are when members and guests can cover ground, learn the property, and get eyes on the deer herd without pushing through anyone’s hunt.

Come walk all 60 acres. The more familiar you are with the ground, the better you hunt it — and the safer everyone is on it.

  • Scout the herd

Read tracks, find buck rubs and scrapes, and pattern where deer are moving before you ever hang a stand.

  • Walk the trails

Cover the trail system on foot and see the timber, the food plots, and the creek bottoms up close.

  • Ride the property

Four-wheelers and dirt bikes are welcome on the trails — the fastest way to cover ground and learn the layout.

  • Learn the ground

Get genuinely familiar with all 60 acres — property lines, stand locations, and how to find your way in the dark.

2026 Season

The club year at a glance

Red marks the November firearms portion, when the range is closed outright. Dark green marks a Monday work day closure. Tan marks a deer season the range stays open through — and Mondays inside those firearms portions show as open, since the work day pauses then. Hatched days are firearms portions that fall inside an archery portion: the range is open, but no archery hunting is allowed while a firearms portion is running.
