Hunting season slots
5 paid stands per firearms season, 5 per archery season. Every reservation holder is guaranteed a stand; an impartial order only decides who picks first.
Season slot reservations are paused — county permit pending
Hunting season slot reservations are paused pending the club's Ray County conditional use permit. Until the permit is issued, hunting and shooting on the property are limited to the personal use of the owner and his guests. Membership applications are not affected — join now and your member access begins the day the permit is issued.
Hunting leases before the club opens. For information on a hunting lease prior to the club’s opening, contact the owner, Aaron Rochon, directly on his personal cell at (816) 872-6708. These are personal leases with the owner.
An active membership — monthly or annual — is required to reserve a season slot. Day passes do not qualify. Monthly members must have no lapse in dues between joining and the start of the season; a lapse forfeits the slot and releases it for an annual member to purchase. We verify membership after purchase, and an unqualified slot is refunded in full. See membership plans.
How It Works
Reserve a stand, then pick it in order
This is not a lottery, and there is nothing to win or lose: paying reserves a hunting stand for the season, not a chance at one. Every member who reserves is guaranteed a stand, and an impartial random order only sets the sequence in which holders choose which stand is theirs.
Reserve a stand
5 stands for each firearms season, 5 for each archery season. Pay online to reserve one, first come, first served until they're gone. Paying reserves your stand — it is not a chance at one.
Selection order is set fairly
Every reservation holder is guaranteed a stand. Once a season's stands are all reserved, an impartial random order decides only the sequence — 1st through 5th — in which holders choose which stand is theirs.
Pick your stand
In that order, each member picks their stand for that season, on the hill south of the creek for every season except the November firearms portion, when the whole property opens up.
Stay on the hill — don’t drop to the creek
The firing lane runs along the creek bottom. Losing elevation puts you in it. Outside the November firearms portion, hunting happens from the assigned stands on the hill south of the main creek. That high ground is what keeps you clear, because the lane crosses the creek below you.
Do not travel downhill to creek level while the range is live. If you need to leave your stand, move up and away from the creek, never down toward it.
The November portion is the exception: the range is closed for that whole week, so the creek-bottom restriction lifts. That is part of why it is the premium slot.
Members can view the marked firing lane on the property map in the member portal.

Slots and pricing by season
Every Missouri deer season offers slots: 5 per firearms portion and 5 per archery portion. The November firearms portion carries the highest demand and the highest price. Note that archery hunting is closed whenever a firearms portion is running, so an archery portion buys fewer huntable days than its dates suggest.
